C905 OBEX Errorcode: CO

Had a problem with my 905 (couldn't hear anyone) sent to Vodaphone for repair. Made a backup before it went - trying to restore said backup, getting nowhere fast - Get OBEX Errorcode: CO Bad Request !
can I fix it or am I stuffed

Maybe it helps to delete the profile of MPE and then to connect it again (so all settings are gone)
