Synching - Outlook 2007 and Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S)

I have this set-up and it synch'd my contacts fine. When I try to sych my calendar, it shows me all of the appointments that it is planning to send to the phone and the list is correct. I then get a status bar showing that they were sent, but there is nothing on my phone's calendar. Any ideas?

Did you activate the correct calendar setting inside your phone?
(Calendar > Menu > more > Calendar)

And there is a little bug in the current client.Please create a dummy-appointment in phone before you sync

So that mostly worked. I have my appointments on my phone now. The problem is that many of them got inserted on my phone 1 day EARLIER than the real date. The data is there, the time is right, but it is one day early. Can you help? Thanks!
