I want to sync my Outlook Calendar with my HTC Wildfire AND with Google Calendar.
I noticed HTC Sync does sync appointments from Outlook into a new Calendar on my phone called "PC Sync". So all the items go there. Since this is a new calendar not a single calendar item from my phone goes to Outlook. When I move or create appointments in this new category, they also appear in Outlook. Though this category issue is annoying, the most annoying is that these appointments do not appear in Google Calendar. The new category is simply not there. I suspect "HTC Sync" is a special local category like "My Calendar" is.
Today I tried MyPhoneExplorer with new hope. MPE is also capable of syncing the calendar between Outlook and the Wildfire, but puts the appointments in "My Calendar". And this category isn't synced with Google Calendar either...
So I would like to sync the appointments into my Google Calendar (I've several, but the default has the format of user@gmail.com). Any ideas? |

I plan to add a calendar-filter and a new-item-preselection for the client. This should fix your problems, but be patient i currently don't know when this feature will be finished. |

There is a solution for your problem : use "Google Calendar Sync" tool. |

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately that doesn't work in my case, as on the (corporate) computer where I want to sync with Outlook I have no internet access. |

Surprisingly MPE has a solution to this problem. Not in the Windows application but in the Client app on the phone:
Menu | Settings
Calendars to Sync. Select <Main calendar>.
Add new events to… Select <Main calendar>.
Note that with this workaround is it possbile to synchronize only one Google Calendar, however this is already 100% gain! |
