Bug with sms found

Whenever I send sms from MPE the sms itself dont show up in my phone.
This have only occured with MPE 1.8.5.
When I receive sms it shows up in phone and in MPE, when I send sms from the phone it shows up in MPE(not directly).

It doesnt matter if I send it in the "chatbox" or using the bigger interface.

I have tried different sms apps to see if the problem was with stock, no change at all. The sms sent by MPE dont show up.

Using a Samsung GT-S6310N(think the N is for Nordic)
Jelly 4.1.2
Windows 8 pro x64, all updates installed.

Have you got the phone to save 'sent' messages? Not sure that it's set to save by default. Something to check anyway.

But it worked excellent with MPE 1.8.4 and I have not made any changes in my phone.
The moment I installed MPE 1.8.5, then it got messed up for sent messages.

I uninstalled 1.8.5 and installed 1.8.4 and now it works galantly. Odd.

Same here. Send from PC-based MPE. Only have the "received" side of the conversation showing on the phone (LG Nexus 4) in MPE.

Interesting fact is that when I open the Android messaging App on my phone it DOES show both sides of the conversation!!!

Just tested this and my 'sent' messages appear on my phone. Running 1.8.5 on the PC and Android (stock messages app) 4.2.2 on my phone.

Just tried this again.
With MPE 1.8.4 and with MPE 1.8.5
Samsung GT-S6310N

But now with the newest Hangouts that I got from xda-developers.
Sent sms from MPE 1.8.5 shows in Hangouts.
Sent sms from MPE 1.8.5 does not show in Stock messaging app.
Sent sms from MPE 1.8.4 shows in Hangouts
Sent sms from MPE 1.8.4 shows in stock messaging app.

Hangouts was downloaded from xda-developers. They took it out from the latest KitKat(Nexus 5) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2507748

There is no possible way that this version of Hangouts was stock in my phone. Since it still says in Google Play that my installation of Hangouts is 1.2.018(849105-30). When infact it's 2.0.012(884159-30)

So basically, atleast for me. Stock don't work with MPE 1.8.5. But an downloaded app works
And that for an app that came from a phone that got released after 1.8.5 was released.

How odd isn't that...
And it cant be my phone that's faulty since it worked with stock app with MPE 1.8.4
