HELP - ERROR, Obex Protocol could not be initialised

I sync a Galaxy S3 and also a Google Nexus Pad to a PC running Windows 7 and MS Outlook 2007. i have just started to get this error on my Google Nexus every time i try to sync yet the Galaxy S3 sync works fine. I have uninstalled the APP on the Google Nexus and re-installed but the ERROR still appears.

The ERROR is:-

Obex protocol could not be initialized.
OBEC Error code 00: - Phone didn't answer, Timeout
------

Does anyone have any ideas how i can correct this problem?

The strangest thing is that i have synced successfully without a problem for months and all of a sudden this ERROR??

My MPE version is 1.8.5

You're connecting your Nexus Pad over USB, right?
Did you update the ADB drivers since Android 4.2.2?
Is USB Debugging still enabled?

Sorry, i should have mentioned, No over WiFi.

WiFi has always worked for me very well but not now for some reason.

Also when i say Pad i mean its a Google Nexus 7 Tablet.. Has wifi and bluetooth.

Ok, so it has nothing to do with drivers.
First thing that I would do is to restart your WiFi router, this helped a lot of other users that could not connect.
Then, if problem was not solved, try to give MPE desktop the fixed IP address in it's settings and try again (that IP address, that is shown in the MPE client).
By the way, can you get a ping to your Nexus 7?

A router re start had no effect.

Note: When i try to sync the MPE Icon on the Nexus 7 rotates as if the Tablet has been found by wifi but then the error box will always appear to.

Note: I can copy files manually across via wifi from the MPE files tab, from PC to Nexus 7 so i assume i am connected ok

Is it the fixed IP address of the Nexus 7 or the wifi router that i would need to input and how do i find this address?

How would i check i can ping... i assume i can because i can copy files manually by wifi.
