did you follow instructions in our "How to's"?
Drivers installed without any confilcts in Windows device manager?
"Debugging mode" enabled in smartphone?
best regards...
Hi,
Yes the drivers are installed without any conflicts and also, the device is visible in device manager. however, i dont find any option to enable debugging mode. I have seen all the settings but i guess such setting is not available in this phone.
I had another phone there i could do everything like normal but with this new phone i dont think that opiton is available.
Kindly help.

Maybe this will help:
It's a post in this thread http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18303 and shows how to activate USB debugging mode on a Nexus 4. Perhaps it also works on your Galaxy Mega.

After activating the usb debugging modus ("settings" --> "about you phone" and then tab 7 - 10 times on "Build Number". After that, you will see the "developer options" in the "settings" menu and can activate the debugging modus)

Which Android version is on this new phone? 4.2.x or higher?
If so, go to "Settings > About phone > Build-Number" and tab 7x onto that Build-Number. You should get a message that you're now a developer.
Go back one step into settings, now you should see the developer options where you can switch that debugging mode (very tricky from Google since 4.2.x).

Edit: Thanks JoachimS, you've been faster...
