My netbook running Windows XP was getting really slow so I ran CC cleaner to get rid of temp files and update the registry. Now, however, after a year of having no trouble syncing my Outlook 2010 to my Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 running Android 4.1.2, MPE will not recognize that my phone is connected via the USB.
The phone itself says it is connected as an media device. My netbook recognizes it only as a generic Samsung Android Interface whereas my desk computer running Windows 7 recognizes it as a GT-N7000, and shows it as having functions as a portable device, a Samsung Android ADB Interface, a Samsung Mobile USB composite device, and a Samsung Mobile USB modem. I tried ensuring the drivers on the netbook were similar to those on the desk computer, and "adding" it as those types of hardware, but it did not seem to change how the netbook views the phone.
I have all the drivers loaded, USB debugging enabled, and am using the OEM USB cable, but it will not be recognized. I also tried over wifi and bluetooth with no luck. I completely uninstalled the Samsung drivers and then tried updating the the USB and ADB drivers; I also tried installing drivers from different download sites in case some were corrupted.
Below is the debug log of my latest connection attempt.

Its a clear driver issue. Uninstall the current samsung drivers from devicamanager and install Samsung KIES to be ensure that you have the right drivers on your system.
And do NOT use USB3 Ports!
