Syncing contacts back to phone

This is driving me up the wall !

I thought this was a 30 seconds job !

I have a copy of my "phone" contacts from a Wildfire S on my laptop MPE
I have connected the phone with a USB and pressed the synchronise button
It appears to sync but the contacts don't appear on the phone

What am I doing wrong ?

Is there English help / instructions / manual somewhere ?

OK I got a bit further forward. I found the HELP on the android client and got the contacts sync to work but how do I limit it ?

On the PC version I have contacts by ALL ,PHONE, then by 4 other Google accounts.

I only want to copy the "PHONE" contacts back to the phone but despite xxx that on the desktop the sync seems to sync everything.

How do I restrict it ?

Take a look at the settings of MyPhoneExplorer Client on the phone. There is a setting called "Contact accounts to sync"
