Notes do not sync correctly.

MPE worked fine when installed about a month ago but no longer syncs notes correctly. I am using Thunderbird for email and MPE for calendar, notes and phone contacts to sync with my Win7 64b laptop and Motorola Droid 3 phone.

I have 35 or so notes to update and sync. The first note on my list will not sync properly; I change the note in MPE and additions are ignored. However, when I deleted some parts of the note and added new data both changes were made correctly. Before and after that one instance, it would not add new changes to the note on my phone and would erase the changes made in MPE.

I also find that my next 3 notes get duplicated each time I sync.

Do I need to find a new sync tool or is there a way to correct the problems encountered?

Please press the second button in the notes viw (Download entire). If the problem will not disappear then post the logfile after you tried to edit a not in MyPhoneExplorer.

I have a similar problem. In my case, 'Download entire' doesn't work, not a single Note gets downloaded.

I have about 150 Notes on my phone which I want to download to PC and save as a Word file, but no matter how many times I sync or download, I see no Notes in MPE, but they are still there in the phone.

What does work is if I create a note using MPE's Notes app (yellow notes) instead of the phone's Notes app (white notes). In this case, yes, I can see all MPE Notes (yellow) in MPE and download and convert and archive them on my PC. But I can never see any phone Notes (white) in MPE. And I can see MPE Notes on the phone but only if I click on the MPE Notes icon but I don't see the MPE Notes if I click the phone's Notes icon.

It was possible before to use MPE to see and download the phone's Notes to PC. But not any more, since about 1 year or so.

Still, MPE is a truly wonderful software. Thank you.

MyPhoneExplorer does work only with the app "MPE Notes". There was never a connection to the Note-App provided from the phone brand or third party developers.
