Hey FJ, first off thanks for a fantastic piece of software, I just recently got a k800i and trying to get the SE software working was horrible, I am very glad I came across your software!

I would just like to add my voice to the call for multiple gmail calendar support. I currently have separate calendars on gmail for work/university/birthdays/etc. and at the moment I am only able to have one of these calendars on my phone at a time.

I understand you are very busy and you have said it is not a top priority/difficult to do, but just thought I would add my support for this feature.

PORTABLE APPLICATION

Thanks for the great app, you rock!

I know this would be pretty difficult but would it be possible to make this application protable? say so you can stick it on a usb drive and take it to what ever computer you wanted and just use it?

I'm starting this thread hoping everyone posts here proposals and suggestions. Could be a sticky thread? In this case everyone could post suggestions, higlighting in bold the object of the suggestion and write further on. Let's go!

Turn external speaker on when asnwering incoming calls

MPE offers users, on incoming calls, to answer; why not add on option in the dialog to activate the external speaker for those phones supporting it?

Typically you're busy working on you're PC so it would be fantastic to just click and speak without touching the phone!

I only miss one future, having the ability to sync my sms' to outlook..
I have, practically, my whole life in that program, and making it possible to sync my sms into that program, i.e like an SMS-inbox/outbox/unsent usw, would be heaven on earth to me!!!

Anyways, thanks a lot for this wunderschöne program!

I'd like it if you made a new view where I can see my last calls, sms, the phone monitor etc. Just like FMA today.



(that's what I miss when I switsched form FMA to MPE. FMA is so buggy . But when there will be page like FMA today, MPE will fulfill (nearly) all my wishes.)

Now I can see my battery status in the statusbar.

In the send SMS screen, is it possible to add autocomplete number and name?

For instance I start to write the number or name and when there is only one choice left for which number/person this can be (taken from the adress book) it will autocomplete the name/number ?

For instance search for number:
Start to write in the receiver field:
1. +4534
2. Now the auto-function starts and knows that there are only one number in the adress book starting with +4534,so it autocompletes the number.

For instance search for first or last name:
Start to write in the receiver field:
1. Andre
2. Now the auto-function knows there are only one Andreas in the adress book and autocompletes with name and number: Andreas Neumann +4593412345

Test last 2 connections before error

At office I use the USB cable, at home a BT connector; I get errors when MPE starts cause it's using last connection as default; so i need to configure again the other connection. Could it be possible to save somewhere (ini?) last known 2 good connections and if last fails, attempt the previous?

Avoid confirmations on BlueTooth trasnfers

Why does MPE asks confirmation every single file you upload to the phone? It is a different beheaviour when cabled....

Maybe it's simply the phone that on BT connections wants a confirm???

Its a good idea, but i don't think i will implement this.
- much work
- less time
- too many other tasks to manage

Hi!
I use MPE for a long time. This is very usefull program, but...
I have Sony Ericsson w710, which is based on such program platform, as k610 has (I think).
When I working in MPE with my girlfriend's k610, I have nice extended contacts editor in adress book, with 2 adresses (home and work), 3 e-mails, possibility to add birthday there.
But when I connect my w710, I have only simple editor (like on k750), with 1 e-mail and 1 adress. And I have NO "bithday"-field there (I have to go to the calendar and add birthday remind there manually).
In "Monitor" section I see photo of of k700, not w710.
Version of MPE is 1.5.9!

This is why I have one question:
When MPE will have Full support of w710, as like as k610?

One more small question.
Where must I add my phone, in what rows?
I suppose that:
ForceNotes - no
ForceBirthdays - no
ForceWorkAddress - yes
ForceJavaDownload - no

But I don't sure about "ForceEventsBefore1970"-field.
Must I add my phone there or not?
I don't completely understand the role of this field, sorry...
