Loading entries from Outlook failed

Last week I was able to get my Outlook contacts and calendar to sync with my Galaxy S3 phone usaing MPE (1.8.4). It took some time to get it set up (MPE kept closing with an error). But it was finally working.

Today when I went to sync my Outlook contacts and calendar, I got an error (Loading entries from Outlook failed).

Nothing has changed on my phone or my computer that I'm aware of.

I have had mixed results with getting MPE to work consistently. I have uninstalled and reinstalled may times over the past couple of weeks. I've been able to get it to work for a couple of days at a time and then it starts to fail for me.

Any ideas on what may cause this to stopping working?

If you are using the 64bit Edition of Outlook then you have to launch Outlook manually before sync.

Otherwise post the logfile after you got the error message

I'm using Outlook 2007 (not available in 64 bit) on Win 7 (64 bit). I have several MNAPI profiles set up and my default profiles is set up to access several Exchange 2010 mailboxes.

When I go into the Sync setting and click advanced I do not get a list of folders. It get the error..."Folder structure from Outlook could not be listed!"

Run MyPhoneExplorer as administrator and try it again

Well in working with FJ, this is what we came up with...

Maybe it happens cause MyPhoneExplorer wants to use the Redemption Library for the interface to Outlook first. It fails cause a common issue and then MyPhoneExplorer swaps back to the traditional Outlook Interface. Maybe it works if you disable the Redemption Access completly:

-> Start->Run->%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini->OK
-> add a new line directly below [Main]: UseOutlookObjectModel=1
-> save the file and try to sync again

This seems to have fixed my problem. I've been problem free for about a week now.
