I’ve updated from 2 versions back now running latest on PC and phone.
The photo sync still isn’t working for me.
MPE after click-ing Sync photos then displays “Please wait. Searching photos on device”
The green status bar remains stuck at this point.
Task Manager shows MyphoneExplorer.exe using between 95 and 97% CPU and under applications its not responding.
It doesn’t seem to be using any IO writes after 5 or 6 minutes so it appears to be not doing anything at this point.
Only way out is to kill the app on the PC.
There appears to be no sync logs saved for the failed photo sync attempts I made.
I can see sync longs for my calendar etc that did work ok!
To confirm, no photos are being synced to the folder I’ve specified under “Advanced 2” Folder for Photo-sync”
I have been saving photos from within MPE to my hard drive manually and can still do this with the latest updates but it would be good if I can get Photo Sync working.
So more or less the same problem I still have from 1.8.2 last year.

Does anyone have this problem.
Phone; Blade/Orange San Francisco
Firmware; GRJ22
MPE 1.8.4
Connection auto; I almost always use Wi-Fi.
Client 1.0.23
PC OS win XP sp2
Thanx for any help with this.
PS. Why is the word "c l i c k i n g" xxx out in the forum!! |

- Launch MyPhoneExplorer in debugmode (Start-Run-myphoneexplorer debug-OK)
- start the photo sync
- when the photo sync did freeze for about 2 minutes then post the logfile here. You have to open it manually: Start-Run-%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt-OK |

Thanx for the reply FJ
I ran the Debug as you instructed.
Well there is no Debug.txt file being created it would seem. I've searched my drive to be sure. I'll have a few more goes and if that fails I'll maybe try a reinstall of MPE to see if that helps!
I can only think as MPE completely freezes up it can't complete the creation of the debug file!
Or is there any reason MPE will not create a debug file if not installed on C:\ ?
I have MPE installed on D:\ drive and when attempting to open I get the following error;
Can you please confirm the exact path for the file? |

Just run this command in the search-field of the startmenu: %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt
The parent path of MyPhoneExplorer is also displayed in the settings of MyPhoneExplorer (Advanced 2) |

Hi FJ
I've sent the debug file to your via PM as there are a couple of lines in the file I don't wish to post on the forum, some phone details etc!
Cheers. |

I got the logfile, but it seems to be incomplete.
Please install the current beta: http://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe
Then try it again with enabled debugmode and send the logfile to me via email (zipped and with a link to this thread) |
