Hello.
I copy cyrillic text (Windows encoding CP1251) from organizer/calendar note to clipboard, paste it to another note and letters get corrupted and replaced with question marks (?).
I run version 1.8.4 nightly build 06.12.2012 0:51:40. As long as I remember, previous versions behaved the same way.
Can you please check and correct it?

How do you select the text when you copy it ? Do you select just the line/appointment or do you select the text in a textfield ? |

I open appointment in calendar, select text in subject, location or additional text fields, copy it to clipboard via Ctrl-C and then paste it via Ctrl-V to another appointment.
If I paste text to text editor (Notepad) the letters are displayed correctly. If I paste text to appointment the letters are replaced with question marks.
If I copy text from text editor and paste it to one of the appointment text fields the letters are also replaced with question marks.
It seems that letters are corrupted when they are pasted from clipboard to appointment text field no matter how they were copied to clipboard. |

I'd like to add crucial detail. If I switch interface language to English, russian letters are pasted all right. And if I return to Russian they are replaced with question marks.
It seems that Russian interface impairs correct code page selection. |

Export the appointment as *.ics-File and send it to me via email - with a link to this thread. Rightclick->Import/Export->... |
