Outlook sync problem - "Too many Calender objects chang

Beitrag von OlleB »

Hi,
I just installed MyPhone Explorer. Excellent stuff (and I donated..)
I have a Sony Xperia acro S and have transferred all my conatcs from Outlook on my PC.
Last night after installing MyPhone Explorer I synced the phone and Outlook and all seemed fine, I can see that changes where made.
Still, this morning I saw an error message on my phone saying something like "Too many Calender erasures (48), you have have exceed the limit. What do you want to do?
- Erase objects
- Regret erasures
- Do nothing just now"

What should I do?
If I chose "Erase objects", will it only erase the chenged part of the calender post or the whole post?
What happens if I try to sync before I have resolved the above problem?

VERY thankful for all help, my whole business life in is there...

Hi,

this message comes from Google-Sync.
If all your entries are ok in Outlook, PC and on your Smartphone,
normally you can select "erase objects" then, but be sure to have a backup copy before (just to be on save side).

For future it will be better when Google sync. is disabled when syncing with MPE to avoid collisions during process.

best regards...

Thanks for your quick replay.
Making a very quick check I can see that the first contact I checked if it was transferred from the PC, did not show up in the phone. (meaning that the sync was not 100%)
A problem is that I have some 2000 contacts and it is problematic knowing which were changed or added.

- Is there a way of seeing the changes made during the sync, like a log (to see if things went well during the sync)?
- I just made an off-line back-up and I understand that it backed up the things from the phone. How about the things I have on the PC, are they also backed-up?
- Thanks for the tip about Google Sync. Still, I am not sure I know what it is or if I have it, searching the Internet it seems to not support Android phones. I used to have a Nokia Symbian phone, could this be the reason?

Sorry for all the questions, I am shit-nervous for loosing contacts, meeting etc. Missed a meeting three days ago due to lack of sync...
