Unable to access SMS Archive File

I was using version 1.1.3 and suddenly whenever i tried to access the messages tab, it would suddenly shut down. I can't access my archived messages anymore. I updated to the latest version 1.5.8, and copy pasted the archive file to its folder to see if it would load up the messages. But the same problem occured, it would just shut down. I can open my archive file up as a word file, but its all encoded. Can u tell me how i can decode it, so i can retrieve all my messages again.

I think you have edited your archive-file - NEVER DO THIS. You can send me your file via mail then i can take a look where ist the problem.
