Contact Picture Bug

Hello FJS Forum Members,

I am new around here.

I have searched but cannot find the answer.

When you use MFE to edit your phones contact information and add a picture for each contact the image quality looks much worse and poorer quality than if you save the picture to your phone first and use your phone add the image to the contact.

Shouldn't it be the same?

Has anyone else found this?

I know I can do it the second way but it is much slower especially when you have hundreds of contacts to update with pictures for their profile.

Since jellybean there are two versions of each contact photo. A high resolution image which is saved as jpeg on the device storage and a thumbnail which is saved in the contacts database. myPhoneExplorer does access only the thumbnail. Maybe i'll add support the new behaviour in a future release but there are also alot of other features to realize...
