Restore call log back to Android phone

I'm wondering if it is possible to restore the call log back to the phone. I've just accidentally deleted the call log in my HTC Desire, but I have a copy in MPE. Is it possible to get it back to the phone?

Currently its not possible, this feature will come meaybe in a later version

Same thing just happened to me as happened to vladacr. It was my fault. I have no backup of my call log other than the call history in my Ver. 1.84 MPE desktop software.

So then I updated my cellphone MPE to Ver 1.0.23 from Ver. 10.0.21.

By any chance has "restore" (of call log info, from MPE on a desktopPC, to a cellphone) functionality been added since vladacr's post last year? Jay

I installed the Beta on top of 1.8.5 version which is public (Is it wrong?) But,
I still don't see a link to restore from MPE to Phone. I had also accidentally deleted the call logs in the phone, but it is absolutely intact in MPE!

Got it! These are the steps to follow after installing/upgrading to version 1.8.5

a. Extras > Create Backup
b. Save the MPB file with a clear ID of "Call-log-to-restore".MPB
## This saves the call logs what you see in the MPE
c. Extras > Restore Backup
d. Choose the same file that you used in step (b) above
e. Select only "Call log (xxxx items)" in the pop-up window

I have changed phones and restored the call log from my old phone using a backup. The restored log appears in MPE and when I synch with my phone the restored and any new calls appear correctly. But when I view the call log on the phone it is empty (phone shows "call log empty").

[Edit]: I have just tried a call log synch to my old phone (Xperia Arc LT15i) from MPE and I get the same result viewing the log on the phone "Call Log Empty).

Win XP SP3
MPE 1.8.5 Nightly 31/10/13 Client 1.0.28

Restart the phone -> still empty ? Which phones do you use ?

Restarted the phone (Xperia V) several times but the call log was "empty" while MPE showed all the calls.

Yesterday the phone call log just appeared! Earlier that day I had installed MPE cleint to 1.0.26 Beta 6 by mistake. Now on MPE client 1.0.28 and the call log works fine.
