I've just noticed that I have over 7GB of disk space taken up by data in my phone profile directory. Is this correct? I'm talking about ... [user]\Application Data\MyPhoneExplorer\HTC Desire HD [352668040354860]\Cache\sdcard ...
The main users are:
Music - over 5GB. Seems to contain a subset of the music actually on my sdcard (I have over 22Gb on the card itself) and use MPE to sync it to my computer
.data\navigator - most of the rest - over 1GB. It's map data.
Should these files be there? Can they be safely deleted?
Thanks in advance.

Its the file-cache, its save to delete the entire filecache - no problem. When MyPhoneExplorer was designed then caching files was really a good feature. Inbetween on Android its not really needed, maybe i should add something like clear cache on shutdown or similar

Thank you. Disk space all back now.
Yes, I think a 'Clear cache' option would be a good idea.
Edited to add: it would be a good idea in my case as I have a 36GB system disk (a 10K rpm 'fast' drive) plus larger, slower data drive (that was a good plan 6 years ago before SSDs
). So I try to keep 'data' to a minimum on the system drive.

Hey, sorry to bump this but today I was running really low on space on my C drive and after doing a tree-size scan I found out that MPE was caching all the stuff that was in my SD Card (nearly 4 gb), so I had to delete it. I wanted to know if you can do something about this as it grows really fast and I don't see why we would need this.
