MPE has worked perfectly for me for months now on an old laptop I was using (running XP). I have just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 SP1 64bit installed. I have installed MPE with no problems and MPE has synced ok with my phone (Galaxy S2).
The problem is that when I changed the MPE settings to sync with Lotus Notes I got the message “Folder structure from Lotus Notes could not be listed”, and when I ask MPE to sync with Lotus notes I get the message “Connection to Lotus Notes failed”. Also, in the advanced sync settings, no address book or calendar file is shown in the drop-down box.
I believe this is because my Lotus Notes program is 32bit and so the Lotus Notes data files reside in my "Program Files (x86)" folder, whereas MPE has been installed in my 64 bit program folder "Program Files". So when MPE looks for Lotus Notes data it can't find it because it's installed in the other folder.
Is there any way of instaling MPE on a 64bit machine so that the installation goes into the 32 bit folder "Program Files (x86)"? Or a way of getting MPE to look in another folder for Lotus Notes data files?
Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated as without this working I can't fully use my new laptop and de-commission my old one!
Thanks
MPE and Lotus Notes
MyPhoneExplorer is also a 32bit application so this is not the problem. Please post the logfile directly after the error message was shown.
