backup restoration

Hi all,

I use MyPhone Explorer 1.8.2. I took backup of my Contacts and Sms, following (--> extras --> create backup).

I got a problelm with my phone and i have to hard reset my phone, but i have a question which may perhaps sound stupid but i couldn't find any help regarding it in the "about" section neither in the "FAQs".

will the restoration utitlity restore my backup on the phone or the the Myphone explorer client installed on the laptop????

Restore writes back to the phone from the backup file you saved to your PC. IIRC, you can choose which parts of the backup are restored (e.g. just SMS messages)
