Contact not syncing

Hi:
I,ve been trying to use MPE since the next day I bought my Samsung Galxy Note.
I've NOT been able to sync my contact list, no mater what I've tried, Error 00, connection Lost, etc. I got to import them through Kies, but this is a nightmare compared to MPE solution (should I get it to work for me)
First I could not get rid of the annoying message "another program is trying to acces your contacts", wich I thougt was the reason for MPE to crash.
I moved from Outlook 2003 to 2007 thinking it could be the reason, to no avail: when about 50% of the "downloading contacts" is shown in the progress bar, it stucks and halt with the "OBEX errorcode 00 Phone didn't answer, Timeout" message. Total contact list shows 8436.

The new client update, ended .16, solved the Timeout error.
It's however veeeeryyyyy slow syncing contacts (phone only, no accounts allowed). Furthermore, it's done in several steps, allways asking after a long download from the phone.... if I want to sync one or two ways.
Some indications of what is the program doing, and how many items are being updated, would give some peace of mind in an hour long process....
FJ, you have made an excellent job with this program, (translations are great!) just wishing the interface information would be more detailed;-) and a bit faster overall.

Total contact list shows 8436.

Most likely this is the cause of your problem. Pushing more than 8.000 contacts to the phone will take a lot of time and inevitably lead to timeouts.

Its not only slow for pushing them to the phone. The main problem is that the client has to walk throught all contacts to fnd changes. And even for the Galaxy S2 this job is too big when you want to use 8000 contacts
