Sorry, it turned out that I had not selected the calendar in the normal calender setting in Android. When I did that I was able to select it in the MFE client.
Now I have the same problem as others that the client crashes/stops when syncing the calendar, contacts seem to work fine.

running client 1.0.15 beta19 with ICS 4.0.3. I'm not able to select any other google calendar under 'Calendars to sync' other than the first one. Upon opening the first time all my calendars are selected, but when I select the one I want to sync with it always reverts to my default account (no. one on the list). the same holds for account and both 'add new events to' and 'add new contacts to' there it also reverts to my default account.
Please install again the beta, it should be fixed inbetween
