Client - Beta version #

What is the Beta version #? My phone says I have 1.0.14 - is that Beta or not?

no, it's not. betas have the word "beta" appended to the version number.

Thanks! I am new to this software & to Android phones. I was downloading the beta client for my phone to try and resolve a problem, but I didn't know to check the box to allow "non-Android Market" apps to install. So the download was just sitting in "Downloads". I found it now & have installed it successfully. Appreciate your help.

The beta version fixed my "Plus" area code problem as otherwise reported; it also appears to have fixed some other area code format issues that I haven't even noticed yet.

Sorry for the silly question - new to the Android stuff

I am having the "+ in front of phone numbers problem" and I downloaded and updated the server version on the PC (Now says version 1.8.2 Nightly Build 12/9/2011 8:31:14 AM) but I still have all the + in front of the phone numbers. I see references here to updating the client, I assume that is the client on the phone but where do I find that to download? should it update when I try to sync with the PC? I have sideloading enabled.

You can also download it to your PC and use MPE to install it on the phone ...

That's right, but please note that a lot of PC-based browsers will download *.apk files as .zip file and you have to rename the .zip file back to .apk before you can install it on your phone.

Where i can download the Client 1.0.24 beta2? or what is the last beta versión?
I have installed the nightly versión 26/06/2013 and i want to try the client also!
