Samsung Kies (USB) drivers and CAB-Extractor

May I ask how did you decide on -r -p:16? Seeing you wrote this in 2010, are you sure it is and always will be valid?

Also, should I re-install the drivers each time a new Kies version comes out?

Its not needed as long everything is working fine

Just tried and it does not work any more. To extract the drivers you have to install Kies and while installing copy the driver setup out of the temp folder. Or just google for the current driver package in the www
