I am using the lastest version (the one posted as of October 6th) and for some reason I can't sync my phonebook. My connection to the phone (via USB) is very unstable, though.
edit: I think I got how to reproduce this. It seems that after MPE crashes (sometimes it crashes) the adb keeps running and running MPE again conflicts with this. Terminating the adb process prior to re-running MPE seems to solve this.

How would you describe the behavior. Is MyPhoneExplorer "hanging" ? How many contacts you have in your phone ?

Hi
My problem is the following:
First I had problem to install the USB connection to the Xperia Arc but after a while I got that sorted and it works when I am online and download applications to the Phone. I tried to connect to the Xperia Arc using the BlueTooth connection on my PC (IBM Lenovo T61p) but it fail installing a Bluetooth Peripherial Device driver. I found a "hacking" solution on the internet by installing the Windows Mobil Device Centre (for Vista) and get the driver from there???!! But still it does not work using BlueTooth connectionn together with MPE. The Bluetooth connection itself works now with the PC if I want to send a file to the mobiile.
Anyhow I have the USB connection and the MPE can now connect to the Phone.
The MPE is not "hanging". All function except for the PhoneBook is working. When I click on the Get list (DownArrow) it will send a request to the phone but nothing happens. The list is empty.
I updated the contact called MySelf with information on the phone. When I then hit "Get List from the phone" this contact was transferred over to the phone , but no one else. But, the only thing that was transferred was the picture, name and one of my e-mail addresses.
Here are my information about the mobile phone:
- Model of your phone SonyEricson Xperia Arc, LT15i
- Type of connection USB and Bluetooth
- MPE-PC-version: 1.8.2
- MPE-Andriod-version: 1.0.14
- Windows version , Windows 7
- firmware version 4.0.A.2.368
- PC: IBM Lenovo T61p
- Using the Swedish language on the phone. (When I first got it it was the French language that was the default.)
Hope this info helps. (I have been using a K800i for a number of years and discovered you software last year. It work like a clockwork with MPE.)
Kind Regards

I've a similar problem with Outlook. Sync of calendar is OK, but not contacts. Worked OK for the previous version.
During sync it stops at "Downloading phonebook: 624 of 1250 entries received (1.69 MB)..."
And delivers the message: "OBEX Errorcode: 00 - Phone didn't answer, Timeout"
Present MPE version: 1.8.2
PDA: HTC Desire Z, Android
Outlook 2003, on Windows XP
Sync via USB/cable
Copy of last lines of log:

I use "Force Outlook -> phone", as sync'ing both ways have always been faulty, but that's another story.
Please help

Hi All!
I have solved my problem regarding the Contacts. I missed that you could set a lot of properties on the andriod client for MPE. Once I changed it to sync all my contacs from different sources (FB, Google, Sony , PhoneBook etc) it works OK.
I have also manage to have my BlueTooth connection working so I can use the MPE with Bluetooth instead of USB.
Regards
