Thunderbird 7

Hi

I recently upgraded to Thunderbird v.7, and Mozilla have changed the Address book format, so Contacts do not synchronise.

I had only just started using MPE to help transfer data from old to new phones....

Hi there, I really like MyPhoneExplorer, When I installed Thunderbird 7 I specifically checked to see if MyPhoneExplorer would be supported in ver7 and Thunderbird didn't warn me it wasn't. but now I can't sync Thunderbird => MyPhoneExplorer.

I would be very grateful if you would update MyPhoneExplorer, I am currently using ver 2.0.6

I had problems syncing TB 6 with MPE 1.8.1 but then saw a thread on the German part of this site, and downloaded a "debugging" update which fixed it.
Not sure if that would work for the versions you are on - which I suppose must be beta versions ? (couldn't see a link on the site)

Anyway, I don't have a link to that thread - but if you search thunderbird sync on the German forum it should be there somewhere - hope that helps.

Alas TB just updated itself to V7 and now I have the same problem - it fails to sync with MPE
Hope this gets fixed soon..

Meanwhile the AddOn was updated to version 2.0.9 and works again with TB 7.

Either try updating it in TB or install the update manually - here is always the latest version:

Yes I can confirm it now syncs again for me too - although I did also install the latest beta too.

Really encouraged to see such quick response on this - I really must donate soon and also encourage others to.
