Latest beta feedback

I didn't know where to post this. I am using the latest beta that was posted here (1.8.1 nightly 27/07/2011) and I have some feedback to provide:
- Alarms can't be set. I am not sure if this is because I am using a custom rom (cyanogen mod 7, which is based on gingerbread 2.3.5)
- I occasionally have random crashes that are fixed by restarting the program
- Also my SMS (android default sms app) are not being automatically downloaded. So I am calling all this problems gingerbread's 2.3.5 fault.

There is a later beta available. Hopefully your problems are already fixed.

1) There was no changes, it must be a problem of Cyagen
2) At which points, random crashes are hard to find
3) This has also nothing to do with the beta, maybe you want to try the newest beta of the client: www.fjsoft.at/mpeclient.apk

Ok, I am trying that one now. One thing: the logo in the (phone's) status bar doesn't go blue when it connects with my pc's MPE. Also ,you can't scroll in the apk setings or in the main screen.

The logo doesn`t change here too, scrolling is ok.

The logo changes, but it matches now to Androids Guideline for Statusbar icons. Maybe i will change this back
