the addon-version for Thunderbird 5 is now available and should install automatically when you update your addons. (This version also supports Seamonkey 2.0 and newer.)

If this should not work, you can download the addon manually via

Because of important changes in Mozillas addon-API Thunderbird 2 and Sunbird are no longer supported. The last available version for these programs can be downloaded manually via

When I click on the link for the new addon, I get an error message:

"MyPhoneExplorer could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 5"

Also, it is not found in an add-on search.

Can someone confirm that the new version is working? Thanks.

Hi,

I can confirm it is not working. On Thunderbird 5 I don't get
any synch of the Thunderbird calendar to my phone - HTC wildfire,
in either direction.

The beta worked for me, too. The first file (mpe-addin.xpi ) only caused a Firefox 5 incompatibility message when I clicked on the download link here in this thread.

MPE addon for TB5 v. 1.0.32

When I set MPE to sync the Thunderbird calendar and then choose "Advanced", window focus switches to TB, I wait for a while and then I get the MPE error "Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listed!"

When syncing the contacts with TB, focus switches to TB, I wait for a while, then the error message from MPE comes up saying "Loading entries from Thunderbird failed!" Same thing when syncing the organizer.

The MPE-Addon is wayyyy too old. The current version is 2.0.5. I wonder why it doesn't update, but you should be able to do it manually by downloading it from

The beta is working, except that it is skipping many files and subfolders on a multi sync.

I have a file sync job Phone->PC, Reflect Folder, include subfolders.
The job syncs only 3 of 11 subfolders, and skips many of the files in the 3 subfolders which it does sync.

Motorola Android 3.
MPE beta from above link. Reinstalled beta downloaded today, "about"
says "Nightly, 7/27/2011" -- same behavior.
The log file, "Debug.txt" has entries for all 11 subfolders, but somehow,
they did not all copy to the PC.

I have updated with beta version but no when syncing I get an error message stating m-router not connected to symbian devive, on checking m-router it shown phone (p990i) connected

"Reflect Folder" sync.

It is not working for me also with Thunderbird 5.
I don't get any synch of the Thunderbird calendar, contacts, tasks, and so on to my phone - Sony Ericsson 105 in either direction.

I cannot set MPE to sync with Thunderbird calendar : in the Synchro tab (in MPE 1.8.1) for the Contacts/Calendar/Notes I only have these choice : 1 - Only MyPhoneExplorer 2 - Google (GMail).
