Hi,
First my info:
- Model of phone : HTC Desire HD
- OS version : Android 2.2.1 (Froyo)
- Type of connection : USB
- MPE Serveur version : 1.8.1
- MPE Client version : 1.0.7
- Windows version : XP Pro
I can not connect the phone to MPE (see pictures in the links below).
Despite several days of searching without success, I count on you to solve my problem and I found your software very very good.
Help me

Hi FJ,
Thank you for help me
My phone was of course in "USB-Debugging" and "Charge only"
But I think we should look toward the daemon ADB which can not connect (see the picture "ADB command") and in the log "ADB CommandResponse: * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *"
By the way, the answer is always the same regardless of connection type.
Do you have any other ideas ?

I think this might be related to bad adb drivers. Maybe you want to try uninstall them and get new ones from the latest Android SDK. If you already did this, did you try to ask HTC on this issue?
Have you tried the Android Guide and FAQ for MyPhoneExplorer?
Cause of this i told you to choose the correct mode cause ussually this logentries are set when the HTC-Sync-Suite does disturb the original ADB-Server. Do you have HTC-Sync installed on PC ? Can you kill all of its processes before you try it with MPE ?But I think we should look toward the daemon ADB which can not connect (see the picture "ADB command") and in the log "ADB CommandResponse: * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *"

i have a E10i here myself, and it works. Never heard of a E15a though, what is the "official" name?

My apologies,
It's an Xperia X8. I read the code behind the battery to come to E15a.
My E10i worked perfectly with 1.8, but I dropped the phone and the speaker never worked again, hence the 'upgrade'.
Cheers
