I probably had the error because all my contacts are linked with facebook so that was to much data to transfer. I changed settings on the mpe client on my phone to only transfer phone contacts. But if someone has a solution to the error problem, please let me know.

Hello,
I have same problem with USB and Wi-Fi too.
I would like to sync my contacts connected with FB and Google. If I turn off the FB connection, then sync is working correctly.
My config:
Desire HD (original sw - without root)
MPE 1.8.1
MPE 1.0.7
Windows 7 X64 Ultimate
Is there any solution for that? |

Hello FJ,
I've already registered on the forum
So, I have a big log file, approx 15MB...
Are in the log file any private data?
I think, the file contains big amount of private synched datas in coded format. It is true, yeah?
Is the log file enough, for solve this problem, without these private data?
Thanks.
Regards,
Stefan |

For your information - I did not have this problem a few days back. Not sure what triggered this to occur. I restarted phone/computer - but of no avail. |

I was getting the same OBEX D0 error after upgrading to MPE 1.8.1 in Windows 7/64
I tried upgrading the client app (on phone, Settings->Applications->Manage Applications - found MyPhoneExplorer flagged as "Update available" and did so) - Did not solve the problem
Tried uninstalling 1.8.1 on PC and re-installing 1.8.0 - no joy
Given that F1 in MPE was successfully connecting I thought maybe this is some sort of disconnect between MPE and Outlook, i.e. that this "server error" was referring to Outlook as the database server
I sort of confirmed this by de-selecting Outlook as the data source. Sync then worked but only a handful of contacts appeared in MPE from the phone. And I want full Outlook sync
So, I un-installed Dell Mobile Sync by Nero (I have a Dell Streak with Android 2.2) then went to the Dell support site and re-downloaded and installed this Windows Application, version for Android 2.2
This has worked for me - full Outlook sync now working again, MPE 1.8.1, latest client version, Outlook 2010
Hopefully this info will help others. Presumably other phones / manufacturers supply other "bridges" to the Outlook database

Hi Nathan,
Where/How to do this -> "I sort of confirmed this by de-selecting Outlook as the data source. "
Cheers,

Here is some info which helped me get over the issue - I was running Android from SD Card on my HTC HD2 which is actually a Windows Mobile Phone.
I deleted the Android Build and loaded a new one (which is equivalent to resetting the phone to factory settings I guess).
Now I dont have the D0 OBEX Error. Hopefully the issue does not re-occur as i dont want to reset my phone everytime.
Hope this helps
Cheers,
Ananth |

Hi Ananth
Data source in MPE, I was refering to
MPE->File->Settings->Sync->Contacts
Selecting "Only MyPhoneExporer" here turns off one level of complexity in that MPE then "only" needs to sync between itself and the phone
This made the Obex D0 error go away (but then my contacts weren't being sync'd of course) suggesting the connection with Outlook was the problem
