USB Connection
I am using an Optimus V Android 2.2 phone with Windows 7 and would like to connect with USB. Your instructions say that I must install an ADB driver and lists links, but there is no link for my phone. Where do I get such a driver. What is an ADB driver and does it install on my phone or on my computer?

sorry, but you have to google for them on your own (if they are not on the list). I would try:
http://www.google.de/search?q=Optimus+V+adb+driver
The ADB Drivers are for your PC. And if you dont know what Drivers are, maybe give the connection over WIFI a try. you dont habe to install any drivers there!

Have you tried the Android Guide and FAQ for MyPhoneExplorer?

USB with Droid X
When connecting a Motorola Droid X via USB, use the Windows Media Sync option. This will load the correct drivers, and allow MPE access to the device.
