Ubuntu Wine 1.3.15 Toolbar Icons don't work.

I'm using Ubuntu Linux 10.10 and Wine1.3.15.
The icons on the toolbar do not work when MPE is installed on Wine.

This problem was previously resolved by installing wine1.0.1 (which of course now is depreciated a great deal). With wine1.3.15
99% of the program runs perfectly without a single problem.

The toolbar icons do however work when viewing Contacts but NOT when viewing Messages, Organiser or Calls.

This makes me think that there is two coding methods for the toolbar icons in use. I would be very appreciative if FJ could please use the Phone view toolbar coding style for all other views (Organiser, Calls and Messages) as this would really help the portability to Linux.

If anyone knows any solutions to this problem please send a reply as I am a maintainer for MPE v1.8 on Wine and your help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks

In general i will make no special adaptions for Wine - especially if its a bug in wine. I saw the screenshot in the bugtracker and i wanted to ask you: what is the problem ? The 3. and 4. button is disabled cause no event is selected

you're right buttons 3. and 4. are and should be deselected, but its buttons 1,2,5,6 and 7 that do not work.

Please notice how the frames around each icon is missing. When MPE is working well there should be a thin boarder around each icon. None of the icons in the image are clickable at all. However they all work fine when the contacts are being viewed.

Hmm, all Toolbars in MyPhoneExplorer have the same Flat-Style. At least between contact-toolbar and message-toolbar there is no diffrence (both use flat-style & Dropdown menus)

Yes the icons appear flat when MPE is run on Windows machine,
but they are recess bordered (when they are clickable) in Wine.

Thanks for letting me know that the coding style is the same, I guess the Wine team will look into this. I have also noticed that when I try to manually register the IconLib.dll, it doesn't register properly (although it never needed registering in Wine1.0.1).

If at any stage you have an idea, I would be grateful if you could let me know as I think the program is great and many users would benefit. Many thanks

The IconLib.dll is just a resource dll to package the icons. No need to register, it contains no code.
