I love to use PC to write SMS
(During the day when I used Nokia PC suite and OVI)
I was disappointed with HTC sync
either I am satisfied with MyPhoneExplorer as it was write for Sony X10
I got a HTC Desire with Android 2.2
I hope there is more MPE can do
Since I experience your software
(both on HP and PC)
I Really wish (During Lunnar Rabbit year)
That you will explore into creating a better PC to HP sync and communication
some wish list
1.. Able to use SMS just a email like spell check, attachment
2. Services to send out bulk SMS
3. Able to display (SIM,phone, FB), control and edit contacts
4* Able to delete duplicate contacts !! (one of my long wish since 2000)
5. Able to sync calendar (with google or outlook)
6. Able to create diary (That's another application)
7. Able to sort, upload and update photo and video
8. Able to link with other online program like facebook to upload photo
9. Able to control and monitor hp accessories like battery, memory etc
10. This list can go on
Last but no least, able to support double-bytes Asian languages Chinese etc
Thanks and regards |

Ummm. MPE does sync your phone with your Outlook calendar. That's why I use it (Desire HD). |

Yes, MPE also got simple sync with outlook.
Its the fault of Microsoft Outlook that limit work 3rd party
MPE has done quite a lot
Unless MPE has a counterpart software in PC
that it help to sync Android HP infor (calendar, diary, blog) to a PC
Maybe I am too greedy ...but OVI has almost done it
Let hope MPE can develope further advance interface with
major software with MS or Google ... |

1. hmm
2. does already exist throught batch-files and also throught ; seperated recipients text
3. The access to SIM-Contacts is on Android-Phones often diffrent or missing so i will not integrate this
4. 100% identical contacts are very seldom, and to match "similar" contacts without issues is very difficult
5. exists already
6. Please search the forum for Tasks/Notes on Android
7. does already exist
8. no, this is not the sense of MyPhoneExplorer, btw i don't like Facebook
9. you can already monitor the health state of your phone
DBCS-Support. I know this is a big problem but i did not find a way to fix it |

Thanks you for your answers to my 10 questions and wishes.
I will keep track and hope to see more improvement coming in year 2011
My last wish is that Google will put your company under their umbrella
and make this a default for all Android devices.
Cheers ! |

I want to know is it possible to import SMS and transfer it to the phone. In OVI Suite it was possible but in CSV format.
I had a Nokia N97 before I got a HTC Desire HD and would like to transfer some of the messages.
Thanks. |

Nokia Ovi Suite allows messages from any Nokia phone to be saved in it. One can import and export messages in csv format not vmg.
In MPE one can export messages in Excel format but there is no option to import messages.
I have exported messages from MPE and imported into Ovi suite after converting it to csv format. Next from Ovi suite transferred into a Nokia phone.
Hope this can be available for MPE in the future and there will be no need to have archive folder because all the messages are saved in MPE and any message can be transferred to a compatible phone. Messages can be exported or imported without any problem.
Just my two cents worth.
Cheers. |

@carman: Take a look at this, its in german language - sorry for this
@DHD 99: MyPhoneExplorer can import and export messages from/to csv-Files. Maybe you have to adapt the csv-Headers of the exported file, i don't know which header is used from Ovi Suite |
