Hi,
I searched the english forums before posting.
I have a x10 mini pro, with android 2.1.
I'm having issues connecting it. This is how I use it :
On phone : USB debug mode enabled + MPE client launched + USB connected.
On PC : MPE launched + Trying to connect using USB.
The error returned is : No USB detected.
Anyone experienced this issue ?
Thanks.

Also, I did not install SE ADB drivers, as I understood that they are to be installed automatically when installing SE PC campagnion.
Is this ok ? |

I had the same problem and i tried this:
1. Install the mpeclient.apk in the phone and run it
2. Activate 'Settings/ Applications / Development / USB debugging'
Now it works well. |

It magically worked.
But I think this did the trick :
Before posting here, I was doing the following : while USB debug mode was activated, I launch MPE client. It simply did not work.
Today I tried to launch MPE client while USB debug mode was disabled. Once MPE is launched, I activated USB debug mode. I magically worked.
I did not install the SE ADB drivers, I did not install manually MPE client (already installed it from the Android Market).
Anyway, now it works, I hope this will help understanding the problem, and maybe correcting it in a future release.
Thanks! |

Hello all,
For my first post -what a shame on me- having tried all what described previously... and still got an USB connection fail.
Here my step-by-step actions :
Working on :
- X10 mini pro / 2.1
- Windows XP SP2
- MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.0
Tested cnx:
- Having installed the ME apk and started it on my X10: in the "drop down bar", seen as "connection on going", and "USB cable detected" (... without the red cross // that I still can see on the Wifi line)
- Having also activated the "USB Debug mode"
- Having plugged the USBCable, and selected "Charge only"
- Having choosed under MyPhoneExplorer "Phone with Google Android-OS" + "Connection/Autodetect"
- My x10 is seen by WXP (in ~"Manage Windows peripherals"~) as a "Sony Ericsson sa0101 / Sony Ericsson sa0101 ADB Interface Driver" (ie, driver ADB installed, with latest version D/L from StefanGaller's post)
Selected "Connect [F1]" under MPE... and still got "Connection to phone coult not be establised: No device attached to USB" ...
I'm really sorry, I think having done all from what explained in previous posts + "How-to and FAQ" first sticky one in current forum...
Any clue that could solve my pb ?

Oups, sorry (again), I posted my previous message as "guest", but thought I was logged-on...
-Mjolnir.
Edit:
Yatta !!!
Having performed :
- a reboot of my Windows XP system
- still got "USB no detected" fro MPE, even if my X10 is fully seen by WXP ><
ok... so :
- a reboot of my phone Android X10 system
- restart of MPE apk on the phone (and verify if the "Debug USB mode" is still activated (was the case)
- and MPE now sync with my phone |

Try this : (step by step, worked on my side)
1. Connect your phone via USB Cab, BE SURE having installed the supported drivers
2. once phone detected by OS (XP, needs a driver / W7, driver are embedded), unplug phone from USB cable/PC
3. shutdown & restart your phone
4. shutdown & restart your PC
5. start MPE client on your phone,
6. and check USB debug mode is still activated
7. start MPE on your PC
8. connect your phone via USB cable, wait for detection by OS
9. under MPE on your PC : [F2] / Connection / Mobile with Android Google + USB cable / [OK]
10. still under MPE on your PC : [F1] for connection
This all worked, only once I reboot both my phone & PC...
Then, I only now needs to perform steps 5, 7, 8 & 10 ! |
