Contact synch feature request

I have set up my phone contacts to synch with google contacts and only add entries from google if it's one of two categories. I would like the possibility to set a google category for new contacts created on the phone.
I believe some contacts has disappeared from the phone when not having any of my two selected google categories when syncing and this change would fix that as well as keep my contacts organized.

Yes, well it would be possible to select a google category to apply to all new contacts exported to google contacts.

Is it possible to map Outlook Contacts' "Categories" to Android People's "Groups"? Or at least to have such an options for those who wish to do so?...
