Problems with Lotus Notes Sync to Android

Beitrag von AlastairHW »

Hi,

I have a fairly complex diary, repeated meetings, repeated meetings that have moved and an admin assistant who can add things to my diary for me.

I have managed to sync my contacts from Lotus Notes to my phone, without problems, however the diary/calendar just seems to be really messed up. It's too hard to explain, so I have a number of images that might help.

Also exported my Lotus Notes as an ICS, just in case this helps, please contact me if you need it.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks, Alastair

Guessing the answer to my question is to be found at http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.ph ... otus+notes,

"This will be not fixed. The calendar-sheme of Lotus makes it impossible to do a perfect sync - you have to live with it or you try another software."

so in reality Lotus Notes isn't supported by this product... real shame

Sorry, i forgot to answer your thread. You are right, Lotus is a problematic task, on the other side it works for the most of the users without problems but some users have excessive problems. If you find a software which is able to handle to Lotus better than MPE then let me know ;-)

Yes, I can also recommend Awesync. Besides, it now supports multilanguage interface.

Does awsync enable you to sync Notes based contacts and calender entries to an Android phone directly? Or do I need to "awesync" my Notes to Google, and then to Android device?
Pretty sure my company wouldn't want some information in my Notes calender on sat on a Google server somewhere.
