K310i how to get PC speaker working

I've checked the FAQ and not found the answer (seems to only apply to Bluetooth, which isn't applicable to my phone).

I can't figure out how to get my K310i to use the PC speaker via MPE.
MPE works OK with the phone in all other respects e.g. browsing messages, calls, contacts.

Technical details are as follows:

Sony Ericsson K310i
USB connection
MPE version 1.8.0
Windows XP Professional SP3
Firmware version R4EA031

Hi,

if you don't have Bluetooth, try the tip in the last sentence of this topic.
If this does'nt work for you, there will be no other chance than Bluetooth, cause this is the only way to redirect audio (BT stack needs to support A2DB service).

Unfortunately, the suggested fix didn't work for my mobile. I'll just accept that the phone is too primitive
