I have a Samsung Galaxy S (2.1), and Office 2003.
I am able to sync Outlook Calendar and Contacts via WiFi ok (but haven't been able to via USB--however, wireless is sufficient).
The problem: I'm also attempting to sync a Word file. I've downloaded the file to the Samsung Memory Stick in a folder I've titled "Word". Then I link up the files on my computer with the phone via the setting on MyPhoneExplorer:
Files-Sync Files-Customize-Direction (PC->Phone) and the correct Source and Target folders and Title. (I'm unclear about the difference between Save folder vs. Reflect folder, but the sync doesn't take place either way).
Although the link is established and syncing appears to take place, the file is not copied (if it is not in the phone memory) or updated (when the file is in the phone memory) to the latest version of the file.
The phone is connected.
Any help?
Fred
PS: a neat program
PS: Also, I've started to have a change of one day to Outlook Calendar files too.

Sync with Word file
Thank you for the quick response (if file size did not change, there will not be a sync) .
I've deleted the Word file from the Captivate phone, but MPE still has a sync set up in Files to that file. There is no syncing when there is a different file size (no file) on the phone.
The MPE screen image on the computer seems to do something briefly (a box with bars quickly going across the box) but does not sync.
I also noted a grayed out Notes in sync, so that I can't choose to sync that. Could it be that I need to delete MPE from my computer and reinstall? If so, I believe I saw a note saying that uninstalling MPE involves several steps, not just the Uninstall in Control Panel.
Thanks!
Fred
