Some contacts are missing on the phone

Using an Xperia X10 2.1 - MPE 1.8.0

I sync the contacts to outlook 2007 and all the contacts show up on outlook and MPE, but only some of them show up on the phone.

I use the outlook > phone settings on sync.

Any tips?

I have same problem, but I sync contacts from MyPhoneExplorer to phone. Iam using Xperia X10 mini pro with new Android 2.1 update 1.

MPE gives an option to not sync certain contacts.
Also check People > Menu > View has phone ticked.

all the contacts show up in outlook and on MPE.
I have checked that I want to sync all contacts, and MPE shows the contacs that should be on the phone. But when I check they do not show op on the contact list on the phone

even if some contacts was marked not to sync, is it them impossible to sync them later?

if I go to Top Menu > View > Contacts > Phone
then there is no ticked sign next to it, if that is what you mean?

And I do not find a way to do that

What i wanted to say: There are several view-filters for the contactlist in the phone. Check this filters. i have not every Android-Model for testing so maybe this option is placed a littlebit diffrent as described

thanks for explaining, and the answer. After finding a button and looking trough the contacts I found out that some had been synced through gmail, and did therefor now show up. So I deleted all the contacts and synced them all trough MPE, now everything works perfect.
