Hello,
today I have installed new version of android client.
When I downloaded contacts, it removed ALL my contacts in my PC MPE.
I think it is a big big bug!
ps: nothing changed in android client (in settings menu), and it seems to work downloading calls, messages, and so on... "only" removed all contacts...
with new client version, default is to permit cell phone to go to standby. And in standby it is not working correctly (it did not signal it loose connection, and it seems not to work only downloading contacts; all other events works in standby too)
Hi decided to try putting software on another Pc to try
but when i try to run
i recieve Error CCRPUCW
Run time Error "459"
Object or class does not support the set of events ?
It's in swedish but pictures might help a bit for you other guys.
1 Go to SETTINGS
2 Select PROGRAM
3 Choose DEVELOPMENT (not sure if that's correct on your phones, choose the bottom alternative anyway.).
4 Choose the USB TROUBLESHOOTING
With new client doesn't work for me too. I'll look for solution, but there is another side effect that I think is a bug anyway.
MPE tries to connect, then it reports "blah-blah-blah- 10061 Connection is forcefully rejected". In a Help window nothing really useful, as I was able to connect previously and all requirements listed there are met.
Once I close error dialog box random behaviour observed. Sometimes MPE crashes immediately. Sometimes Contact List in MPE becomes "hatched" and GUI is frozen. When GUI is available, attempt to enter to Settings always leads to immediate crash of application.

I guess you're right, since same error was even after I disconnected phone at all. It was just such a strange coincidence, that I immediately suspected client.
I removed and reinstalled MPE and problem seems gone. I've got crash 1st time I started MPE after reinstall, but since then it works smoothly and I can't reproduce the bug.

You can avoid the standby-mode in the settings of the client.
to return to my original problem, I'm using an HTC Wildfire.
I think the old version had the standby-mode disabled as default, the new one seems to have standby-mode enabled by default. And yes, then I changed it in settings menu
And it works now after avoiding standby ?
Many users thought its a bug that the standby does not work when the client is started, so i made it default to allow standby - with a option to avoid.
