Lost SIM card numbers

I'm not sure if a SIM works like a SD card but is it possible to retrieve lost numbers from a SIM using MPE and some recovery software ? Any ideas or suggestions most welcome as I have accidentally deleted some very special numbers,

Its by sure not possible with MPE and i'm afraid they are really lost. but maybe you try it with your favorite phone-shop. maybe he has a plain SIM-Cread-Reader which is able to do this job

Thx for your timely reply. I will try your suggestion. Its great software, saved me a few times already. Keep up the good work as I tell all my friends about MPE !
