Program stuck on "Synchronizing phonebook..."

I installed the drivers and change the phone setting to allow USB debugging. It finally connected and started synchronizing. When I turned on the Synchronize with Outlook it started but it has been in "Please wait... Synchronizing phonebook..." for at least an hour.

"This action cannot be completed because other application is busy". BUT outlook is off...

Run Outlook during sync, maybe it helps. If not then insert your Office-CD and choose Repair installation
