uh oh unable to connect with Samsung Galaxy S

What a big surprise! I'm very pleased by your support of Android OS, the thing I missed more switching from SE K850i to my new Samsung phone was My Phone Explorer.
Until now I was unable to connect to my new phone (USB and WIFI), do you have something to suggest? I tried every usb and wifi properties (usb works with Kies and wifi works for emails and internet browsing). I tried a machine with XP (in a corporate lan) and in my home network with 7 64bit.

OS Phone version: Eclair 2.1 update 1

Hi,

you HAVE TO enable USB Debugging for the MPE to find your phone, you can enable this way:

Go to Set­tings – Appli­ca­tions – Devel­op­ment and turn on USB debugging.

As far as I know WIFI should work too, what error message did you get on the client and in PC programm? please post log! We need more input to answer this!

I tried it at work on a xp machine but hasn't worked, this machine has kwown problem with some usb drivers, later at home I will try again. I will update the post.
1st update: YES! Now connects with usb at home and by wifi, so connection problem seems to be solved! MPE has installed an apps just after the first USB connection. WiFi has started to work after proper firewall software configuration (permit MPE to access the LAN).
2nd I believe you need to download MPE app from the market to your droid phone before starting and run it
Now I play a little with the new version and I will see.

I'm glad to hear that it works at home.
As for the Debug.log:
I see that the MPE tried to connect to the phone but didnt make it. Are you sure you have installed the ADB Driver at your corporate pc?
Eitherway I will call FJ in for this, cause I can't speak MPE yet

the usb problem went away after installing the adb drivers
and usb connection now working perfectly

for wifi may be a routing problem but who can know?

Cause Wifi
- ensure that no Firewall blocks MyPhoneExplorer
- ensure that both devices are connected to the same Router
- some Routers have disabled the feature that connected devices can see each other

Thank you, wifi connection problem solved

In firewall the phone was in unsafe/ untrusted area because of wireless connection so was unable to be found by MPE, now added to trusted zone it works.

Everything is ok now,
