Wifi IP cached on Android

Hello,
it is a fantastic program! I will donate today.

However I have a problem now; because on my Lan (and WIFI) I have dhcp on, today my android phone (htc wildfire) has another IP and my PC has the IP that my wildfire had yesterday.

So I read on the log of myphoneexplore that it is trying to use the cached IP of yesterday and then it cannot find the phone...

how can I force a "refresh" of cached IP ?

after manual changing IP (and setting the IP of yesterday first syncro), after a multi-sync it duplicated all my contacts!!!

why???

This is strange. MPE always try to search the IP, only if not successfully it uses the cached IP

Your problem with contacts has nothing to do with your WiFi problems. Which version of the client do you use ?

again this night it doesn't work; now the IP is the same, but it says it already in use and then it says it cannot find the phone:

I am wondering cause the sending of broadcasts does not work on your PC. Do you have anything special setting which could block UDP broadcasts ? maybe a firewall ?

windows 7 home edition, with default settings (default firewall, using home settings for my LAN)

I had to remove the user, removed the program and then reainstall it.

Now it works; I think It works till it changes again the IP as happened sunday.

Android-Manager Wifi solved this by letting you specify ipadress in the manager...

(this would help me as i have the wireless ap in another subnet)
also there could be multiple androud phones connected to the same wireless AP .. maby a pincode or something is needed?
