Jorte and/or Astrid sync?

Beitrag von weba »

I think MyPhoneExplorer is great, but I would like to know if there's a method of syncing to third-party apps like Jorte Calendar and Astrid (which I have and perhaps others, too). I tried searching the forum but there was no luck...

1. i don't think that i have access to the data of third-party apps
2. it would be really alot of work. It was also alot of work for the native calendar

I understand. I thought I might be lucky and that there's some kind of universal protocol being used by all task and calendar apps.

It would be a lot of work, especially because these aren't the only third-party that exist, of course! This still doesn't take anything away from MyPhoneExplorer, which I think is really good.

Thanks for answering

The protocol is not the problem, most apps use SQLite databases. Android protects app-data very efficient so if a developer does not write a explicit "ContentProvider" you have no chance to access the data.

Use Google Cal with Jorte

If you are not allergic to Google having your data in the 'could', you can set up Jorte to work with the Google Calendar, then you get the MPE sync with the Google cal, and you access it through Jorte.
