Synchronisationsprobleme

Wenn es immer noch nicht geht:

- Kommandozeilenfenster öffnen
- Ins Thunderbird-Programmverzeichnis gehen:

cd "\Programme\Mozilla Thunderbird"

- Kalenderliste generieren:

thunderbird -mpe list-calendars=c:\cals.txt

- Inhalt der Datei c:\cals.txt posten.

OK, das heisst, das Plugin funktioniert grundsätzlich. Wenn der Fehler immer noch auftritt, MUSS es an falsch abgespeicherten Settings in MPE liegen; die Thunderbird-Fehlerkonsole beweist das.

Bitte Folgendes versuchen:

- Im Lightning einen zweiten Kalender anwählen.
- In den MPE-Einstellungen muss dieser zweite Kalender sichtbar werden
- Den zweiten Kalender zum Synchronisieren abwählen
- Die Einstellungen mit OK verlassen
- Synchronisation testen, anschliessend bitte wieder Meldungen der Thunderbird-Fehlerkonsole posten, wenn es Probleme gegeben hat.

This must be a very basis inquiry, but I do not find any solution at hand.

I have been using MyPhoneExploere on a previous pc with XP where everything functioned well. In the meantime I used (and still do) Ubuntu, where I ´forgot´ trying to use it, since it seemed impossible. Now I have a new Dell Studio i7, running Win7 (and also Ubuntu). I installed the program again but it does not find my W800i. The only port available seems to be COM0! No usb...
Trying to solve that, I installed from S.E. the Update and the PcSuite programs (real disasters!): they do not function properly but a new S.E. usb driver was installed which seems to recognize my W8001 quite well.
Still... MPE does not see any otrher port and does not find my phone.
What could I try to solve this situation?

Habe das so gemacht. Der zweite Kalender taucht auch auf. Die Synchronisation schlägt allerdings fehl, Fehlermeldungen sind wieder:

@tutoke: I think ther exists no driver for your W800i on Win7. The only way would be to use bluetooth in this case.

@c.: Ich rätsle immernoch wie es zu deinem Fehler kommt. Starte MPE im Debugmodus (Start-Ausführen-myphoneexplorer debug-OK). Mach dann den Sync und poste anschliessend die Logdatei von MyPhoneExplorer - dann sehe ich was MyPhoneExplorer an Thunderbird übergibt.

For Ubuntu you will find no compatible drivers - you can only use Bluetooth in Ubuntu/Wine (please search the forum, there are many threads about MyPhoneExplorer running on Linux/Wine)

Ich glaub ich habs. Mir ist entgangen dass MyPhoneExplorer bei dir in Wine läuft. Jetzt mit dem Hinweis auf Ubuntu hab ichs in der Logdatei gesehen.

Bei Wine gibt es einen bekannten Bug. Das setzen einer bestimmten Anordnung der Einstellungsdatei ist dort nicht möglich. das lesen funktioniert aber und dadurch kann man das Problem umgehen:

- browse ins Datenverzeichnis von MyPhoneExplorer (Unter Windows ists %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer)
- darin ist der Ordner "Sony Ericsson C702 [357787024695968]", in dem Ordner ist die Datei settings.dat
- öffne diese Datei mit Notepad bzw. mit einem Texteditor
- Suche die Zeile "[ThunderbirdFolders]" - wenn sie existiert dann lsöche sie
- füge ganz unten folgende Zeilen ein:

[ThunderbirdFolders]

- speichere die Datei und versuchs dann nochmal.

6d1d72ce-0fcd-490f-a47c-59e0cc5845cc steht für die ID deines Kalenders (siehe einige Posts weiter oben). im Prinzip machst du das was normalerweise das Einstellungsfenster von MyPhoneExplorer erledigt von hand

No it does not function under Win7 and so seemingly will be the case with Ubuntu, since my new Dell Studio does not have Bluetooth...

For Win7 -> connect the phone and check out the devicemanager if there are entrys in "Modems" from your W800.

I'm sure your Dell has a USB-Port so you can use a Bluetooth-Stick. But before you buy a Bluetooth-Stick make sure that it will work in Ubuntu
