FJ, thanks for your answer.
However, the main advantage of letting MPE act as a SyncML client as well as server is that I can avoid data charges on my phone that doesn't have a data contract.
Another advantage that applies to all users is that I could then also sync with MPE and the online Sony Ericsson Sync service all in one step - much more convenient.
You already have the feature to sync with Google as welll as the phone at the same time, so surely it can't be too difficult to also extend this to be able to sync with the OPEN SyncML standard?

1st of all thanks for this wonderful software. always wanted an application to save my sms.
I was thinking if it is possible that instead of traditional manual password system, an active connection to my mobile would serve as password. like if the connection of phone is authenticated with the user den access is granted else NOT. I am using only a single user.
if this is possible even in current version then what tweaks should i use to make that happen.

Small request
I have a small request regarding the SMS functionality:
When sending a Ping SMS, could it be possible to edit the actual content of the SMS? The reason I ask is because on the o2-UK network, to receive a Delivery Report, you must have "*0#" (without quotes) at the start of the message, and I guess there may be similar limitations on other networks, rendering Ping SMS useless.
I don't know if this is even possible, but AFAIK, a Ping SMS is only different to a regular SMS in the header being slightly different, so I guess it should be possible. Any chance of it happening? Sorry if this has already been requested BTW...

Another nice thing, in my opinion, would be sorting the SMS archive folders by their names instead of displaying them in the same order that they were created.
I have something like this: Inbox-X-1, Sent-X-1, Inbox-Y-1, Sent-Y-1, Inbox-X-2, Sent-X-2 and so on.
I would like to see it displayed like this: Inbox-X-1, Inbox-X-2, Inbox-Y-1, Sent-X-1, Sent-X-2, Sent-Y-1 and so on.
Thanks

Categorise tasks when syncing from Phone -> PC
Since the Sony phones don't support categories, it would be nice to be able to assign categories to tasks, etc when syncing them into Outlook from the phone.
1 option would be to automatically categorise new tasks created in Outlook when syncing the phone - this might fit under the Filter section of the Settings for Outlook window.
2 option would be to be able to assign categories manually in the confirmation window.
At the moment, new tasks end up uncategorised in Outlook, and don't show up in Jello.Dashboard.

Ah - now i undersand. The alphabetic sort of Folders is already implemented and i just tested it with you foldernames. In my test i began with Sent folders and added then Inbox-Folders but the sort is OK (Inbox on first place, then Sent). Can you send me a screenshot of your collapsed Archive-Folders ?
