Adding messages

Is it possible to manually add messages to your archive or some other folder, if one has deleted the message from the phone but still has it in writing?

I'm afraid i did not understand your question.

You can add messages from any folder (Inbox, Sent items, Drafts) manually to archive, just select the message->rightclick...

I mean as in taking a message you have written on a piece of paper, and deleted from your phone, and inserting it manually, by writing the message, into the archive?

Sorry, this is not possible. You can save the message as draft and from there you can move it to archive
