MPE hangs and tries to launch Easy CD Creator

Hello, I'm trying to test out MyPhoneExplorer. It looks like great program but I can't get it to run.
I have installed version 1.4.5.
When I try to launch the application it stalls at the initial splash screen.
The following Easy CD Creator(Roxio) dialouge then appears.

Title: Easy CD Creator Basic.
message: The Feature you are trying to use is on a CD Rom or other removeable disk that is not availible...
Insert Easy CD Creator Disk

I've inserted the Easy CD Creator disk, but the process then hangs, both the Easy CD Creator Dialouge and MPE stall and have to be shut down with the task manager.

I've reinstalled both apps, and re-updated Easy CD Creator with version 5.3.5.10 basic updates, but no joy.

Easy CD creator still works as normal. I running w2k sp4 updated with all bells and whistles.

Can anyone help, or suggest why MPE is calling the Easy CD Creator processes at start up?

Its a bug in the windows setup-host. Clean your Registry with "RegSeeker" then it should work.

Regseeker didn't work on its own. After trying various iterations and finally resigning myself to locating the easy cd creator disks in my CD mountain, this is what worked.

Unistalled Easy CD Creator
Reistalled Windows Install package 3.1v2
Ran regseeker and cleared all entries.
Reinstalled Easy CD Creator.

Bob's your Uncle I can now Launch MPE and it works a treat, so looks like it was a bug in my windows installer- setup host thing.
