SMS backup is not working..

I backup up my phone yesterday. But it seems like there is a bug with the SMS backup function..

All incoming messages are saved correct, with correct dates.

But all my outgoing messages was not saved correct. All the saved dates was not the correct send dates, but the dates from where the backup was taking place. This meens that all my messages is useless now, since they all contain a date which says: "Yesterday from 00.01 -> 00.09"

So it's not possible to backup sms messages correct! :/

It's funny because when i was using my HTC Magic with android, i installed a SMS backup program there, there was no problem adding the correct timestamps on sent messages..

You're mixing up things: Android is Android, Sony Ericsson's OS is Sony Ericsson's OS. And you can not compare an app on the phone with an external software.

But where are theese timestamps for the sent messages then saved? Because somehow the phone get's that information..

I can choose to save messages on SD card, would it be possible to take a backup from there then? (With timestamps on sent messages)

Please search the forum. It was often discussed. Its not possible to read on a SonyEricsson-Phone the timestamp of sent messages.

Thats not true, you can backup and restore also sent messages, but you'll loose the timestamp.
